Who We Are

NRI Assist Punjab was incorporated with the simple mission of bridging gaps between NRIs and their roots in Punjab. Too often, NRIs face problems such as property disputes, legal hurdles, elderly parents staying alone, or complicated documentation. We step in to make those challenges easier. Operating under the stewardship of a Canadian citizen who maintains very strong links with Punjab, we combine global perspective with local expertise. We understand the worries of living abroad and the reality of getting work done in India

Our Story

The journey of NRI Assist Punjab is deeply connected with the personal experiences of our founder, Mr. Aashish Singh.

Aashish came to Canada in the year 2010 to pursue opportunities and build his life. In 2013 He Bought his Dream home then blessed with two kids. His parents were living with him in Canada but they were done with snow so they moved to California. He moved to California, USA, in 2019, joining his parents and siblings there.

Life was going smoothly abroad until 2021, when his father had this heartfelt desire: to return to Punjab and spend his years in his homeland. And for Aashish, saying no was never an option. He shifted back to be with his family in early 2022, respecting his father's feelings more than anything in this world.

But coming back wasn't easy. Aashish soon discovered the actual challenges NRIs face-property management, documentation hurdles, governmental processes, and ensuring proper care for family members. Every step was complicated, time-consuming, and stressful.

He did not give up but instead learned how to deal with these issues in the best possible way. He went through the systems, understood the processes, and built trusted local networks. With experience, patience, and persistence, he discovered effective solutions to save time, money, and stress for the NRIs. This journey of his inspired him to establish NRI Assist Punjab, a platform actually born out of experience rather than theory. Today, Aashish and his team utilize their learning to assist fellow NRIs overcome challenges in Punjab by providing transparent, reliable, and compassionate support in property matters, legal issues, finance, relocation, elderly care, and education. For Aashish, this is more than business; it's one way of giving back to the NRI community and a means to ensure that not one of them struggles alone, as he did.
